Sat 11th Music: Piranhas + Asbo Derek

at The Greys in Hannover.  Starts 8pm, £donation. facebook link

Sun 12th Football: Unlock the Gate

celebrating 100 years since women in the UK first being able to vote.  Lewes FC Women host Charlton Ladies.  Gates open 12.30pm, with Kick Off 2pm. facebook link

Tues 14th Football: Dulwich Hamlet

face difficult times, with funding stopped by their owners Meadow over a development wrangle with local Southwark council.  The Hamlet host Harrow Borough (or potentially an FA Trophy replay against Harlow, should we draw on Saturday).  Head to the game, all match receipts help the club; if you can’t make it you can donate on the Just Giving link or buy a program online Buy the Program Online link.  Champion Hill, Kick Off 7.45pm.

Thurs 16th Antifa: Presentation

The History and Stratagies of Antifa in Germany.  Presentation, at the Cowley Club on London Road, on the major strategies, struggles, defeats, victories, splits, and theories of the Antifaschistische Aktion from 1932 to the present; followed by discussion.  Runs 6.30pm to 9pm, £donation.  facebook link

Sun 19th Charity Support: Migrant Lives Matter

celebration of migration featuring music, film, pop up art installations, comedy, food and thought-provoking talks and workshops at the Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts at University of Sussex, Falmer. Everyone welcome! The lovely people at the Sussex Centre for Migration Research have put this together to support Sanctuary on Sea and the Migrant English Project. Sat 25th Talk: Guaranteed 100% Hate Free

Sophie Cook talks about her vision for a better, more caring society, her amazing life and how she overcame fear, learnt to love herself and turned her biggest fears into her greatest strengths.  Held at the Westgate Chapel, High Street, Lewes.  Runs 9pm to 10pm, £donation. facebook link.  A donation from each ticket goes to Calais Action to help refugees and our hosts Westgate Trust.

Sophie Cook is a media personality, politician and activist whose wide portfolio of work includes presenting, producing, writing and photography.  In early 2017, Sophie’s amazing story was spotlighted in a number of national newspapers and broadcasts, most notably the BBC’s primetime Premier League Show.

Mon 27th Music: Attila the Stockbroker
